A Raw Food Workshop will be held at Rose Center on Thursday, September 20, from 7 to 8:30 PM. The fee is only $20. The instructor is Kathy Ashley, a Holistic Health and Lifestyle Coach.
This workshop is an introduction to the world of raw foods and the profound effects they have on health and well-being. Students will learn what are raw foods, the many positive and far-reaching health benefits, the importance of including them in everyday diet, how raw foods are different and better than cooked foods, and disease cure and prevention with raw foods. Students will be given a raw food snack with recipe, informational handouts, and a free private consultation.
Ashley received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, and is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She became interested in the raw food lifestyle through the desire for a healthier and simpler life. It quickly turned into a life mission as she enjoyed not only physical health, but much more. The desire to help others achieve optimal health through this lifestyle is what led her to pursue a career in health coaching. Through her programs and one-on-one private coaching, she supports people in reaching their full health potential using individually tailored lifestyle plans. Aside from coaching, she teaches workshops, raw food preparation and education, and is developing her own line of raw organic snack foods.
To register for the workshop contact Rose Center at 423-581-4330. Rose Center is located at 442 W. Second N. St. in Morristown.
